Skogafoss

After our hike on the Soheimajokull glacier, we dropped by Skogafoss on our way back to Reykjavik. I took this chance to try out my new variable neutral density filter - basically a filter that reduces the amount of light entering your camera, enabling you to use slower shutter speeds and achieve motion blur.

Getting the shot turned out to be a bit of a family affair. My brother would stand in front of my camera to block the spray while I positioned it on the tripod; dad on the other hand provided the shadow under which I could review the photos. In between shots, we resorted to utilising every bit of dry clothing on us to wipe the lens down.

No clue how photographers get around this - any tips? :)
