"Because I like it," responded I, wary of the skeptical backlash that is inevitable when I say I am a Math major.

"Then what you have is an end to an end. For me, I'm studying business because I want to make money, so that's a means to an end."

"Ah-hah," I said triumphantly. "But as a girl, it's my prerogative to marry a rich husband. That's why I study in Science, and go to Business for lunch."
