Testing out my new Canon 10-18mm lens on the most delightfully blue afternoon at Gardens by the Bay's Supertree Grove.
It's uncanny how we attempt to recreate Nature in such a sanitized environment - everything is perfect in an obvious yet soulless kind of way.
It's a place where, if something dies, it gets replaced quietly after closing hours. No one will know the difference when morning breaks; it is always as it should be.
It's a place where tourists flock in droves to marvel, even while they carelessly toss away paper cups made of the forests that the park is modeled after.
And yet - undeniably - beautiful.
