Flowers heralding the beginning of spring in Germany! We went on a walking tour of Heidelberg and visited the castle ruins and brewery, but the most vivid memory I have of the town is of its beautiful spring colours.
With the temperature hovering at a balmy twenty degrees, we couldn't resist spending some time soaking in the sights along the river bank. And what a great way to spend the afternoon! They were right when they said the best things in life are free.
